Westchester, N.Y. – Howard Meyer, director, playwright and founder of Howard Meyer's Acting Program (“HM Acting”) and Axial Theatre, has been teaching acting for twenty-seven years. Students have gone on to roles in film (School of Rock, Bob Roberts, Welcome to the Doll’s House, Natural Born Killers), TV (Boardwalk Empire, Law and Order, Blue Bloods), and stage (Broadway: Once, Hand to God, Legally Blonde, Cyrano de Bergerac), and leading conservatories across the country.

Mr. Meyer will be conducting auditions on Wednesdays, September 6th and October 4th for his two Fall 8-week Master Class session. Auditions are appropriate for professional and pre-professional actors with prior training and experience.

Oscar, Tony and Emmy award-winning actor Kevin Spacey has said:

"Howard possesses those qualities which I admire in the best of directors: a keen, objective eye, impressive knowledge of behavior, and creative spirit. I can assure any potential student that something will indeed happen in classes with Mr. Meyer."

Michael Boyle, Axial theatre company member and Master Class actor said:

"Howard has uniquely nurtured and enhanced my growth tremendously not only as an actor, but even more importantly as a human being. His focus on process and genuine love, support and care for his students makes him one of the most unique and extraordinary acting teachers in the country."
